Lunds extreme sport society, or LESS, exists to encourage extreme sport by bringing people together to learn from each other, experience the culture, challenge each other and make memories together. Our events vary from water activities such as wakeboard and windsurf, winter sports like skiing and snowboarding, to all around sports such as skateboarding, climbing, and running. But these are just a couple examples of what you can experience with us.

As a member of LESS you get to be a part of a great community with enthusiasts that practice all types of extreme sports. If you practice a sport or are interested in trying out a new extreme sport, you will definitely find many like minded people in the LESS community. As a member you get access to all our events and trips, but you also get the opportunity to engage yourself in our different committees that are planning all our events. Our water group plans all kinds of water activities and usually set up a surf trip sometime during the year. We have a ski group that planned and carried out a ski trip to Gudauri in Georgia last winter. Our climbing group arrange events related to climbing, both indoors and outdoors, and our “others” group is for people that want to get involved but might not be interested in any of the other groups.

The LESS board consists of 9 people that all have different extreme sport backgrounds and are students at Lund University. If you want to get to know the board and the organisation better we invite you to come to our kick-off in AF borgen 7th September. Check out our Facebook page for more information. We can however give you a little sneak peak for the autumn semester with events such as wakeboarding in Malmö, surfing in Varberg, skateboarding at stadsparken, climbing, and camping all coming up this fall!

Sounds awesome? Then become a member and have a great time with LESS during your studies in Lund!
